Kitchen work!

John Michael was hangin in his high chair so I could get some kitchen work done. I made the video so we could show Daddy how good he was behaving, but since he was being so cute it had to go on our blog :) :)



Daddy doesn't like these type outfits and usually I don't much either for little boys. But look how cute my son was today in this outfit of Bascoe's.
Ok not cute anymore we just got back from Logan's Roadhouse and three people called my SON a girl. He will NEVER wear this stuff again!!!! Guess Daddy is right about some things :) :) :)

Church, someone is testing me!

So this morning me and John Michael got all dressed and headed for mass. When we get there I realize I have to park half a mile away because they are building a new church. SO I carry John Michael in his infant sit none the less ALL the way to church. Of course by time I get there I am sweating like a pig, thinking I may have arm pit marks. Anywho, get in church and there is NO sitting space left (even though I was 10 minutes early) so I get in a corner and put him down. Still sweating remember and because there is so many people in the church I was not cooling off! John Michael of course was being awesome he was just smiling and talking and playing with his toys the entire time. Well I couldn't take being HOT and standing up with dress shoes on!!! So I wait until everyone gets up and I sneak out to the lobby. WELL the lobby is full of people so I stand there for a while (didn't want people know I was just leaving in the middle of mass) then when communion starts I sneak out again to outside. TO FIND WHAT?!?!?!?!? but more PEOPLE this church has benches outside and an intercom system so you can hear the mass. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO I stay outside until just about the end of mass and then we leave. SO whoever it is testing me I PASSED!!! cause I made it through....
Yes, i know I am crazy!!! Hope you all get a good laugh from this one!!! :) :) :)

1st Professional Pic 3 months

Well personally I don't call JCPenny professional, especially since I think my LSU jersey picture was better than this :) ha ha!! But anyway this was his first photo session that was not at the house. He looks so different already; now from when we took this picture like three weeks ago!

Playdate at John Michael house!

John Michael had most of his friends over today for a playdate. Milo, Brant, Ryan, Adam and Ethan came over for some lunch and a playtime. Anthony and Annabel couldn't make it but we hope to have them here next time. The boys seemed to have a blast and we had toys all over the house to prove it! John Michael just loves watching the older boys his eyes get so big and he just smiles and smiles.



Here is a video of our playtime, Ryan and Adam had already gone we will have to get them on video next time. Hope I don't make you too dizzy I was all over the place with the camera.

Date Night!!

Tonight was our first real date night since becoming parents. My wonderful friend Amy and her mom and Milo came over to our house and babysat with John Michael for us to go out to eat. We went to Outback, I know of all the restaurants and I choose Outback but I have been graving their Toowoomba pasta and it was YUMMY!!!
I don't think John Michael was too much trouble while we were gone he slept for a little bit and then hung out with Milo, those boys are going to have fun in a few months when John Michael can do more....
Tonight I put John Michael down for the first time with out his miracle blanket, everyone keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Highchair

I put the highchair together today, cause it says it reclines and you can put smaller children in it. And yep it works. It rolls really easy so it was perfect, I rolled him around the kitchen while I cooked and picked up dishes and he loved it.....
Can you eat up that smile or what????

Today was the first time he actually held something and seemed to be playing with it. Watch and see!

Trip to the Mall!

Amy and I took the boys to the mall today to get out of the house for a bit. They seemed to have a good time, it was a nice outing......................

LSU!!!

I saw John Michael's LSU jersey in his closet and realized it might not fit much longer and will not fit come football season so I better get some pictures of him in it....

4th of July

We were at Dustin's parent's house to celebrate the 4th. Nana did yummy hamburgers and hotdogs on the the grill. John Michael decided to take a huge 3 hour nap during the celebration so it gave mom time to play with my niece and nephews and fireworks! We had a really nice day.... Of course I only got pictures of John Michael.... oopss
