John Michael's new ride!

We are definitely parents now. Yesterday we bought a mini van, I am thrilled (Dustin not so much). It will make my life so much easier and those electric doors I had to have them!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this outfit that Allison gave John Michael at his baptism. So of course we had to have a photo session now that it fits perfect!!!! We are going to try to get some more pictures in these outfit soon.

Let's try it AGAIN!!

We went to Church again this morning and SUCCESS!!!!! We got there early so we didn't have to park far away and we got a sit!!! YAH!!! John Michael's friend/neighbor Riley sat in the same pew as us and they exchanged some cute smiles back and forth. Of course they both had their moments but all in all it was a good trip. I'm thinking this is our new Sunday routine :)

This week

Sunday, John Michael and I caught a ride back to Louisiana with Dustin's parents so we could go see my family. Dustin came meet us in Lafayette on Thursday and we came back home. John Michael had a lot of fun with his cousins they just make him laugh and laugh. He started doing a deep belly laugh while watching his cousins I had never heard him do before. He was a happy baby most of the trip, MoMo found the beginning of two teeth in his mouth so he had a little bad moments, but all in all he was happy.





Now we are back home and John Michael is happy to be home and with Daddy. See below he is just happy to be back with daddy, relaxed and worn out from all the traveling in the last week! VERY happy to be out of that car seat!!!!!

Our Mini Vacation to New Braunfels!

On our way to New Braunfels we stopped off in Shiner Texas to go to the Shiner Brewery for a tour. Below is a picture of us in the gift and the second picture I just thought was funny!





































That night we went eat a neat place overlooking the river in Gruene Texas. By the time we left the restaurant it was 8:30 and I really needed to get "the boy" to bed. Because we did not have reservations made, I just said stop here at the first place we saw. From the outside of the hotel it looked like something that would be in New Orleans and I love the old hotels in New Orleans. WELL we get the room and get to it and the room is about 10 x 10 and the bathroom is about 3 x 3 it was CRAZY!!!! After we set the playpen up I couldn't walk on my side of the bed that is how small this room was. The only cool thing was the window unit because I love window units, I slept great!!!! Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the room wish you guys could have seen it, it was hilarious. The next morning we checked out at 9am and went find another hotel. I walked in the new hotel told them our experience they said they had only been open three months, I said we will take it!!! Much nicer, I think the bathroom in this place was as big as the bedroom in the first place!!!

Dustin and John Michael hangin out while we were shopping at all the neat little shops in Gruene Texas. Dustin's parents came along with us for the trip it was a nice relaxing couple of days, would have been a little nicer if it wasn't A MILLION degrees outside!!!!
